It’s easier to get into this deficit when you exercise more so make sure you do 30 to 45 minutes of cardio at least 3 times a week.
If you find you’re stuck and you can’t lose weight for some reason, just increase the length of the cardio or start doing cardio more days out of the week. This will usually help you to bust through. Also, do make sure that the weight training is done beforehand so that you will have the energy to lift the weights and not be too tired after your cardio.
Eat Healthy
Of course you need to fuel your body well in order to shed those pounds. Do make sure you’re having healthy fats, lean protein and complex carbohydrates or else you’re not going to be seeing much if any weight loss.
If you’re a guy, make sure you’re taking in around 1500 calories each day. As a woman, you can make this number around 1200. You can change this over time if you encounter barriers, but it’s a good starting point. Make sure you’re eating foods like brown rice, oatmeal, chicken and nuts.
