Some fitness professionals have begun recommending low protein intakes for losing arm fat and for increasing general health. Is low protein the way to go for arm fat loss?

Absolutely not.

Unfortunately, the need to come up with something new to sell has led many marketing departments to push unsubstantiated programs onto the general public. And if you decrease protein by too much, your health could suffer some serious consequences.

Thus, here are some reasons why low protein intakes will not help your arm fat mission:

1. Weak skin. Your skin (an organ) is the first line of defense against invading entities. It provides a very physical barrier for all those germs that would literally eat you alive. And if there is not enough protein in your diet, your skin will become thinner and less resistant to the invaders.

2. Poor digestion. If you cannot extract all the necessary nutrients from food while dieting, you will not get as much energy from each calorie you eat. Not good for losing arm fat. Low protein intakes damage your digestive lining.

3. Organ reduction. Unfortunately, the organs responsible for manufacturing antibodies and fighting infection will decrease in size if there is not enough protein in your diet. And remember that a single bout of sickness will set back your arm fat mission by weeks.

4. Impaired immune response. Overall, the general immune response in your body gets impaired. Not only does it take longer for you to kill invading microbes, but you have less immune cells to carry on the fight. In the end, low protein intakes are a sure fire way to increase frequency of sickness.

5. A decreased metabolic rate. Your body needs complete proteins to fully recover from intense workouts. If you restrict protein, you will not be able to maximize muscle gains from resistance training. And recall that less muscle translates into less muscle mass which translates into slower arm fat loss.

After all is said and done, you are far better off by having a moderate protein intake. The key here is moderation because if you take too much there are also negative consequences. Your body is very smart and it will do everything in its power to avoid extremes. So if you want to lose arm fat moderation is the way to go.

Most people know that panic attacks generally occur during the daytime hours. But panic attacks actual occur at night as well. There is hope through treatments geared toward panic attacks in the overnight hours. How can you have a panic attack at night?

People can wake up in the middle of the night or in the morning with panic attack symptoms. There is no specific reason why, but sufferers will often wake up in a panic. People wake up feeling dizzy, lightheaded or even having chest pains. Their heart may be racing and breathing becomes a problem. A person may feel like they need to escape from the setting or they may feel like they are losing control of themselves; perhaps even dying. This is perhaps one of the most terrifying experiences a panic attack sufferer can undergo.

What Causes Nighttime Panic Attacks

So what is the treatment for panic attacks when sleeping? The treatment actually isn’t much different then dealing with daytime panic attacks. The difference between night time attacks and daytime attacks is that it can be very difficult to find out what stressor is causing a night time attack. Many times nighttime attacks are the result of stress from work or a traumatic situation such as a death in the family, car accident, child-related accident, etc. The thing to remember with any panic attack, day or night, is to stay calm in both mind and body.

Preventing Nighttime Panic Attacks – Three of the Best Treatments for Nighttime Attacks

Treatment 1 – Self Massages

Giving yourself a massage is actually a great treatment for night time panic attacks. It is also a good idea to have a massage first thing in the morning. When a person has a massage, their body becomes further relaxed, which allows them to handle stress that creeps up into their sleep whether it’s through dreams or their subconscious.

Treatment 2 – Relaxation Tips

Deep breathing relaxation techniques are also a good way of helping someone with nighttime panic attacks. By learning to breath correctly a person utilizes the diaphragm more than their chest. Air is breathed in deeply and breathed out the same when breathing properly. When a person is able to do this, they’ll focus on their breathing instead of the things that are stresses them out. This treatment for panic attacks when sleeping, when done right before bedtime, allows them to stay relaxed throughout the nighttime hours.

Treatment 3 – Meditation and/or Prayer

The third way to treat panic attacks at night is to meditate before going to sleep. Why does this help? This makes you more relaxed and also puts you in a positive frame of mind before getting into the bed.

A psychic shield is a layer of energy around you meant to protect you from various psychic attacks. This shield is made up of energy that comes from you. Because it comes from the deeper aspects of yourself, it is important for you to learn how to summon this energy so you can utilize it for psychic protection.

Why should a psychic shield be created? Which psychic attacks and threats could be present? You may think that you have no enemies and you are living in a safe and friendly environment. However, that doesn’t mean you do not require psychic protection. The attacks and threats being mentioned here are not just the ones meant by others to hurt you. A psychic attack may come from any negative source and affect you greatly.

Naturally, more serious attacks which place you in terrible danger require the help of a professional psychic medium. But, the psychic dangers discussed now are those which surround you everyday, and these can affect you without you being aware of it! These are the negative energies unintentionally passed on to you: other people’s worries, complaints, or illnesses. Then, you absorb them unknowingly and you start processing the same negative energies and emotions.

So that is why you have to create a shield around you – to protect yourself from the draining thoughts and emotions around you. By doing this, you keep yourself from being dragged down by them. Notice how different it will be if you knew how to create a psychic shield and placed it around you.

7 Steps in Creating a Psychic Shield

Just like any other psychic practice, creating a psychic shield needs lot of patience and regular practice. Always remember that each try brings you at least one step closer to your goal. Now, below are 7 steps to be followed for creating a psychic shield around you.

1. Find a quiet and peaceful place where you will not be disturbed.

2. Sit down and start relaxing your body. Observe your posture – your back should be straight but not stiff. Arms should fall naturally to your sides.

3. Pay attention to your breathing. Breathe slowly, observing every inhale and exhale. Ask the universe for its protective energies to empower you in this exercise.

4. Imagine a small sphere of pale blue light from the area of your heart. This is a small sphere of your own energy, coming from your inner, limitless resource of psychic powers. Think of this as your own protective energy. Each time you inhale, this grows a little, added to by the universe’s natural protective energies.

5. As it expands, it also chases out any negative energy left in you. It resists negative energies, so it pushes out those still in you, and prevents those outside from entering. Because it is made up of protective energies, it only allows good energies to pass through. Visualize it growing until you are completely surrounded by it.

6. Spend some more time visualizing yourself surrounded by this sphere of light. Keep in mind that even when you open your eyes at the end of the practice, you are still surrounded by this protective sphere, protecting you from all danger.

7. When you feel you are ready, take a few more deep breaths then open your eyes. Remember that a protective sphere now surrounds you and shields you from what can psychically harm you. You can repeat this exercise whenever you wish.

Eventually, it will just be a part of your regular practice to place a psychic shield around you. You will notice how it will take less effort than the first time. And then, as you master the creation of a psychic shield, you can enhance your skill by adding layers to the shield. You can add layers or make it thicker and stronger – whichever would suit your need or whichever feels right to you. You can also use natural gemstones and crystals with protective powers in order to complement your own.

It seems that in these modern times that stress is just part of the landscape. We seem to be under more pressure whether at home or a work. The major shift of stress seems to be from physical stress to mental stress. Our fore fathers were in much more under stress from physical dangers. We on the other hand, seem to be under much more mental stress. We react to both mental or physical stress in much the same way: the fight or flight reaction. Our source of stress has certainly changed, but not our reaction to it.

This reaction to stress causes the body to kick itself into high gear. Our heart rate is increased, the major organs shut down all but the most basic functions and adrenaline is pumped out to boost our energy. There is a major redirection of chemical reactions in the body to get it immediately ready for action. However, with many of the stresses we encounter there is no physical release to all this redirection of energy. This can be problematic since many toxin are the by product of these chemical reactions and these stay in the body.

Stress management is learning how to cope with stress, redirect its energy and release it from the body. We may not be able to eliminate stress from our lives, but we can have strategies to deal with it positively. If you could take the heightened affects of being under stress and put it to positive pursuits, then we are working stress management. The toughest element of stress management is to release it physically.

When we are under stress, our bodies are primed for taking physical action. When we take physical action, then we are releasing out the increased energy out our bodies physically. If we do not have a physical outlet, one excellent method is massage therapy. Massage therapy helps loosen up muscle tension, it releases toxins trapped in our muscle tissue and it helps us to mentally relax. Some massage treatments also can reverse the tension in the major organs via the trigger points in our hands and feet.

Receiving massage therapy from a masseuse is an excellent method to help you relax. It may not always be convenient, so another method is with a massage chair. The massage chair recliners on the market today are very advanced. They offer all the top massage techniques like Shiatsu, deep tissue, Swedish, sports, reflexology and many others. All of these techniques relieve tired, aching and sore muscles. They can target specific areas like your neck and shoulders where stress seems to build up. They will improve your circulation of the blood and lymph systems. These systems remove the chemicals that build up in our body which are in need of periodic flushing.

Massage therapy is a very effective tool to relieve and release stress in our lives. We may not be able to eliminate the causes of stress, but we can find effective tools to counteract its impact on us. Massage chairs offer tremendous convenience and access to regular massage therapy. They also have supplemental capabilities to enhance the massage experience. Some recliners have stretching capability for the shoulders and lower body. Some have music players to help your relax your mind and body. You can find some with heat that can be applied in specific areas. All of these features are designed to help your body totally relax.

Stress management is about having the right set of tools to effectively redirect, neutralize and release the affects of stress. Wouldn’t it be great to be able to sit down in a massage recliner. Let it start to ease your aches and pains. Release the build up of tension in the shoulder and neck areas. Take your mind off the stressful situation for 15 or 20 minutes. Give you a chance to regroup, rethink your situation with a fresh mind and body. A massage chair recliner can be a very effective and convenient tool in your stress management tool box.

Most girls and women have stretch marks in areas around the thighs, breasts, butt and pelvic juncture (where their thighs meet their waist) due to rapid weight changes, sudden height growth and pregnancy. Stretch marks are a result of tissues underneath the skin being suddenly pulled by fast growth and/or stretching of the skin. It is common in adolescent girls and boys due to sudden growth spurts that happen around their age. Stretch marks are often difficult to remove.

Stretch marks do fade a little over time, but they usually do not completely disappear without assistance from effective stretch mark creams or expensive dermatology treatments (eg laser therapy, microdermabrasion treatment, etc).

Collagen is protein which makes up the connective tissues in your skin. Even though skin is fairly elastic, when the skin is overstretched, the normal production of collagen is disrupted. This causes stretch marks, which looks like white scars on the skin. Stretch marks stand out from the rest of the skin, due to their bright white or pinkish/purplish pigment.

Stretch marks can be cleared with a patience and determination by applying an effective cream to the affected areas. With correct technique, you can see a huge improvement in the marks and coloration within a few weeks. The correct technique is to apply firm pressure when massaging the cream to the affected areas as this will help absorption as well as add pliability to the skin. It also helps to improve circulation, which will help regulate the skin pigment back to normal.

The most effective stretch mark creams in the market today work by increasing teh skins elasticity. This prevents and treats stretch marks by preventing the root cause, the lack of elasticity and overstretching of the skin. If you are unsure, I suggest to do a little investigation by yourself, into stretch mark removal and you may find some amazing results from other people who have tried them.

The most commonly given suggestion to remove stretch marks are to visit a dermatologist and undergo expensive and lengthy therapies, which help to lessen the appearance of stretch marks and help them ‘blend in’ with the rest of the skin, rather than remain hyper-pigmented or un-pigmented at all.

There is also a another common suggestion of using self tanners to cover up the areas with stretch marks, while this does improve the overall appearance, it does not attack the problem specifically. It only covers up or hides stretch marks temporarily, so it’s similar to treating the symptom instead of the disease itself!

Even if you’ve spent several years trying to get rid of blackheads with no results, don’t give you. There a blackheads treatment for everyone, you just have to find it. If one doesn’t work, then you try another one until you find the solution. The first thing to understand is that blackheads are caused excessive dead skin, which eventually clogs the pores.

Understanding blackheads is your first priority. In short, they are issues that come about when dead skin clogs the pores. So in order to counteract the problem you have to exfoliate your skin regularly. One of the hardest places to deal with is your nose. However, it’s all a difficult process, so let’s go over a few helpful tips today.

Exfoliate- There are certain ways to exfoliate your skin, and when it comes to a blackheads treatment like this, a mild exfoliation with a combined benzoyl peroxide is the best choice. If you take this route it’s important that you use the right amount of benzoyl peroxide. Plus, you don’t want to over-scrub either. When done correctly, you will be able to expose the blackheads and clear them up.

It’s also important to understand that you only have to exfoliate twice a week. We recommend using low benzoyl peroxide, because it will be your best option at breaking down the buildup, especially in difficult areas like your nose.

Pore-Strips- These are also considered a form of blackheads treatment. You’ve probably seen them advertised everywhere, but they work by just pasting it to the infected area. This basically sticks to the blackheads like glue, and after a certain period you just pull it off and they’re gone.

Unfortunately this can damage your skin. If you aren’t sure about what you are doing, or don’t want a scar left in the location, we recommend a specialist. Someone like a clinical aesthetician will be able to help.

However, don’t go crazy with these things. Using too many can aggravate your skin and end up causing more blackheads to surface.

Blackhead Dissolver – This you will be able to find at your local drug store. This treatment dissolves blackheads in 3 weeks and it is made using natural plant extracts. The plant extracts reduce the cellular production and then help your skin’s follicles open up. This is a treatment that not only works for blackheads but will also treat dandruff, eczema and many other conditions. The extracts in the blackhead dissolver soften the lipids and then eventually break them down.

However, anytime you take advantage of a blackheads treatment like this, it’s important to make sure your skin doesn’t dry out or get dehydrated. If so, the plugs will harden, which will ruin the treatment. In the end you will just be wasting your time. So make sure you moisturize your skin if you have dry skin. Using a blackhead dissolver will make it become drier.

There are many products out there that can give you the correct hydration balance. In the meantime, we recommend researching each blackheads treatment before purchasing one. You will feel much better in the end.

Tired of all the attention those blackheads draw to your face? Do you think that you spend too much time and effort trying to get rid of them just to have them return? Stop driving yourself crazy and learn about effective solutions how to remove blackheads now! Blackhead Removal – The Ins and Outs. Expert: Peter Skonctue.
